The DNP CX-D80 is a high-quality thermal retransfer card printer designed for edge-to-edge full-color printing. It’s suitable for a wide range of card-printing needs — from corporate employee IDs and government cards to gift cards and membership cards.

• Retransfer Printing Technology – Prints images onto a film first and then transfers them to the card surface. This produces a glossy, edge-to-edge finish and reduces printhead wear.  

• Dual-Sided Printing – With the dual-side (DS) option, the printer flips and prints both sides automatically (premium/dual-side models include this).

• High Print Quality – Standard models have 300 dpi resolution for sharp graphics and text. High-resolution variants (e.g., CX-D80HS) offer 600 dpi for even finer detail.

• Versatile Card Support – Works with PVC, composite PVC, PET-G, ABS, contact/contactless smart cards, and more.

• Full-Bleed Printing – True edge-to-edge color coverage.

• Durability & Security – Built-in locks (hopper & front door, Kensington) and optional security encoding protect cards and equipment.

• Optional Encoding & Lamination Modules – Supports magnetic stripe, contact chip, contactless encoding, and optional laminators (CL-600 series) for enhanced card durability.
