The SMART-51D is a direct-to-card (DTC) thermal dye-sublimation and resin thermal transfer printer designed for printing high-quality ID cards, badges, membership cards, access passes, and similar plastic cards.

• ✅ Direct Dye-Sublimation Printing – produces sharp, professional color and monochrome prints.

• ✅ Dual-Sided Printing – prints on both the front and back of cards (the “D” model is dual-sided).

• 📏 Resolution: 300 dpi for color; up to 600 / 1200 dpi in monochrome (model-dependent). 🕐 Print Speeds:

  • Monochrome: ~5 sec/card (~720 cards/hour)

  • YMCKO (full color): ~17 sec/card (~212 cards/hr)

  • YMCKOK (dual-sided full color): ~22 sec/card (~164 cards/hr) 🧠 Memory & Controls: Built-in 2-line LCD with LED buttons.
